Storytelling is a tradition in families, and the Marion and Dunn families were storytellers.  Stories of family, stories of experiences, stories to make you laugh and make you cry.  Anne Marie grew up in a world of stories and reading.   In the third grade, she wrote a short story, and Mrs. Grace White, her teacher, encouraged her to keep writing her stories.  Anne Marie followed that advice.  She wrote stories throughout the rest of grammar school and high school.

Life interfered with Anne Marie's writing, and she started her career in industry in 1979, in manufacturing working as an accounting clerk.  She moved to the chemical process industry in 1984, and from accounting into Safety, Health and Environmental in 1992.  She retired from industry in 2014, finally able to pursue her dream and passion of writing stories.
